Laser Vision Correction is a high-tech surgical procedure that alters the curvature of the cornea in the eye to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. Although it does not restore the loss of focusing ability that occurs with age, many patients over the age of 40 can be given much improved ability to read by performing what is called a mono-vision procedure.
